This 1915 Speedster was imported from America and a UK registration has been applied for.
Import duties have been paid. The car is being sold as an ongoing project but is a running and driving vehicle.
For registration purposes the Model T Register have dated the car as a 1925 although the style of the car
resembles a brass era car. This is typical of Speedsters which are often "bitsas" made from parts
from different years.
Overall, the car is in very tidy condition. It has been assembled from a Rootlieb body set including
wings, seats etc. It features a dropped front axle to lower the car. The engine sounds very good and
runs on a Truefire ignition system. The car is electric start. Electric headlamps are fitted. Wheels
are the later 21" split rim variety.
Please note that whilst we endeavour to describe vehicles as accurately
as possible, it is the responsibility of potential buyers to satisfy themselves
as to condition and originality. Please remember that these cars are now in
excess of 95 years old!
